WARRIOR
Born in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia where the first 12 years were spent. Shortly thereafter upon being made to choose between mother & father going forward post an ugly divorce – I chose father. This began a stint in South Charleston, WV living alone at the crisp age 13 years old. This period was influenced and peppered with a few short stints nomadic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My life hit survival mode very early on in life at a very high speed, reckless, unforgiving at times but adventurous & fun throughout.
The spirit that lives within me is a lot more peaceful than those in the congregation would postulate spectating from safe areas in the assembly my walk in LIFE.
Life presented me not a chosen route but one which was forged. Fight or flight. At a very early age I lived in a neighborhood that had ethnic strife just a couple streets away that started the violence and aggressive nature my life would then afterwards take. Out on Golf Mountain Road in Cross Lanes, West Virginia that “survival” mentality was influenced, fostered and fueled by the neighborhood peer’s gang mentality and the constant struggle of the grind.
Four families from that era are still in my life four decades later. One of the older boys from that era, Glen, has grown to be like a brother and always pushed me to be stronger, tougher, better & still does to this day. This mentality carried me all the way to the pinnacle of the United States military into one of the world’s most elite units, the United States Navy SEAL Teams.
VISIONARY
The entirety of my life I have never been that guy that fits in anywhere unfortunately, and fortunately; this started from about 7th grade and has carried unto this day within my walk in life. So many times my heart has yearned to be that guy in the room nobody notices, or that was just another bloke in the pack but it just has not went that way for me; This attention many times has made me the goat as well as many other times made me the hero. Decision making minus wisdom, or weighing out consequences plagued my walk in my early days. As often times bravado, or foolish ego overly influenced those detrimental decisions. I have paid for those consequences painfully but gained a wisdom from it more valuable than gold. It’s inspired me each time to up my game and to excel pushing even harder towards my goals.
As my spiritual walk has grown the visions and ideas for our world & country as it pertains to GOD and TRUTH have only became more passionately driven. The modus operandi, direction of my sweat equity and congregation of people has been constant but regularly changed, tweaked and refined. I will tell this story, some founding ideas, work and visions on this site later in time openly.
