CNBC interview pre-Baghdad invasion 2nd Gulf War 2003 between Norman Schwarzkopf and Lew Knopp. This was my very first interview as a talking head subject matter expert. The network picked me up in a limo, chauffeured me to the studio, and set me up on a camera with Mr. Schwarzkopf on a television screen on my right echelon. The producers then informed me to talk to the camera vice directly to Mr Schwarzkopf “like” I was facing him. Pretty monkey-ish at first until I got the hang of not trying to look at his monitor while communicating with him. Man, to be 33 again and just starting out professionally in the world.
